Crusaders Reveal Training Kit for 2024

The Crusaders new training kit has landed. The boys pulled it on for the first time this week as they climb into a packed pre-season schedule.

Our 2024 and 2025 jersey range showcases connection to our whenua, our land, our place. The Crusaders represent the top half of Te Wai Pounamu – our strong and beautiful South Island – so it’s only fitting we continue to pay homage to our home with our training kit.

Pounamu. Our new training kit evokes this special stone, found only in Te Wai Pounamu, literally meaning the waters where greenstone can be found. A symbol of strength and power, this taonga bestows strength to those who wear it.

The braided shoulders indicate the bonds tying the team together, stronger as one. The mana of pounamu increases as it’s passed down, just like our jersey and the heritage added to it through generations of players.

Pride in our place, pride in our cloak, pride in our heritage. This is what makes us stronger. This is what brings us together. This is our crusade.
