Noah Hotham

Noah Hotham is a product of Hamilton Boys’ High where he was a sports prefect and vice-captain of their first XV. He was part of the side which won the Super 8 Rugby Competition in 2019 and 2020.

Union wasn’t his only talent though, winning Condor National Secondary Schools Sevens in 2019 and 2020 - the latter of which he was captain. He also captained the New Zealand Under 18 Touch team.

Before being named in the Mako squad in 2021 as a development player, Noah was selected for the U18 Chiefs camp and the NZ U18 Māori team in 2019, then NZ Schools in 2020.

He was then selected for the NZ U20s in 2022, scoring a try on his debut. In 2023, he donned the Crusaders jersey for the first time against the Highlanders. The season proved a huge success for Noah, earning himself Rookie of the Year at the clubs awards. He then played for the NZ U20s again a few months later and stepped into the role of captain.

In 2024 Noah made his All Blacks debut coming off the bench in the 36th minute against Fiji.

Emerging from a family of sporting success, Noah’s eldest brother Legin claimed silver at the touch World Cup and sister Jazmin won Olympic gold with the Black Ferns Sevens.
