The Long Run is back! Mark your calendars for 2026

The Long Run is back and it’s bigger than ever – registrations are coming soon!

Our annual Crusade With Heart event is returning on Friday 23 January 2026, and we’re calling on our Crusaders whānau to lock it in now. 

This isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a moment that brings us together – fans, players, staff, and community – to run, walk, cheer, and give back. It’s about showing up for something bigger than rugby. It’s about making a real difference.  

Last year, you turned out in force. You ran laps, you donated, and you helped raise over $233,000 for the Child Cancer Foundation - a staggering show of generosity that reminded us all of what it means to Crusade with Heart.  

You stood shoulder to shoulder with us as we raised awareness for causes that matter deeply to our region. And in true Crusaders fashion, you did it with passion, pride, and purpose. 

In 2026, we’re doing it all again – and we want you with us. 

Registrations will open next month, and we'll be sharing more event details soon, but for now; save the date, rally your mates, dust off your running shoes and get ready to be part of something special. 

Because The Long Run isn’t just about how far we go – it’s about who we go with.
