In a world where actions speak louder than words, this partnership is making a big noise – and all for the right reasons.

The Crusaders and Matatū have once again teamed up with Isaac Group, renewing a relationship that’s about so much more than rugby.

“Renewing our partnership with the Crusaders and Matatū is about standing alongside organisations that share our values and our commitment to community,” says John McDonald, General Manager Support Services.

“Together, we’re backing the people, places, and kaupapa that make the South Island stronger.”

Isaac Group has roots that run deep across the South Island – and an even deeper passion for giving back.

For eight years, they’ve partnered with the Crusaders, and now they’re entering their third year with Matatū.

Their mission? To crusade for good alongside two teams who know what it means to fight for something bigger than themselves.

From small towns to local schools, Isaac Group has always had a knack for shining a light on the people who make our communities thrive. This partnership amplifies that impact, creating positive change far beyond the rugby field.

We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with Issacs Group, a company that has stood alongside the Crusaders for many years. Isaacs Group exemplifies the values we share – excellence, innovation, and community, and we’re excited about what the upcoming seasons will bring as we continue to grow together,” says Doug McSweeney, Crusaders GM Commercial.

While the Crusaders and Matatū battle it out on the pitch, off the field this partnership is quietly scoring big wins – supporting local initiatives and championing those who live by the mantra ‘For Each Other’.

As the red and black and teal jerseys look ahead to their 2026 campaigns, the spirit of doing good is right there with them.

With Isaac Group at their side, the Crusaders and Matatū aren’t just chasing trophies – they’re helping build a stronger, more connected South Island.

Because when the goal is to ‘do good’, every win counts.
