Pulse Energy to power South Island Super Rugby in 2021
“Pulse Energy have partnered with us since 2016, and we’re thrilled to continue our longstanding relationship with them,” Highlanders CEO Roger Clark said.
“We have always viewed our partnership with Pulse as being beneficial not only to our club but also our community and we are delighted that now extends to the entire South Island with the Crusaders coming on board”
Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge echoed that sentiment. “We are delighted to be teaming up with the Highlanders and a community-focused energy company, with its roots firmly in the South Island of New Zealand.
“We’re aware of Pulse Energy’s fantastic work in our region, particularly on the West Coast, and look forward to working with a group of good people, who are doing good things for local communities.”
Pulse Energy is a 100% community-owned New Zealand energy company supplying electricity, gas and solar to households throughout the country.
Fraser Jonker, CEO of Pulse Energy said, “With closely aligned values and South Island roots, a partnership with both the Highlanders and Crusaders Super Rugby sides is a natural fit for Pulse.”
“We are really excited to be at the heart of South Island Super Rugby in 2021. Our customers and community are integral to our company, and we look forward to connecting with the Canterbury community and wider South Island region.
“The strength of our partnership will be in the way we collaborate to connect with our local regions, and we’re really excited to be helping power both teams, as well as the communities they represent, ” Fraser Jonker said.
