Tim Stokes
« Back

A stalwart of Canterbury Country rugby, Tim Stokes made his sole appearance as a Crusader against Western Province in 1996 after being added to the squad as a mid-competition replacement. Perhaps appropriately, the Oxford club front rower gained his cap against the South African side as a substitute for fellow Country front rower, Stu Loe. While representative opportunities were limited throughout his career, Stokes was a great servant of Country rugby in the Canterbury region and remains one of the few players to have gained Crusaders selection while actively involved in the Country club rugby championship.
