Steven Yates

A product of the West Coast via the Burnside club, Steven Yates gained his solitary Crusaders cap to date at Brisbane in 2006, two years after he debuted for Canterbury. A winger by trade, Yates first appeared for Canterbury during an NPC match against North Harbour. By the end of his fourth season with the side, he had carried his career tally in the red and black jersey to 28 appearances, which included 10 in 2007. Yates was a member of New Zealand's world-circuit-winning IRB Sevens team in 2007.
