Nick White

A one season, one cap Crusader, Nick White played 36 games in the Northland front-row prior to joining Auckland in 2000. It is from that base that the experienced scrummager came to the Crusaders where he served as the back up to All Black props Greg Somerville, Greg Feek and Dave Hewett. Formerly a No 8 during his three years in the King’s College (Auckland) first XV, White was first exposed to Crusaders methods when he was coached by Robbie Deans and Steve Hansen during the 2000 New Zealand A tour of Europe. Outside of his season with the Crusaders, White has been a regular with the Blues since his debut in 2000, securing 21 caps. He has also represented Auckland on 68 occasions.
