Greg Feek

« Back
A Ranfurly Shield winner as part of Taranaki’s unheralded 1996 side prior to coming south, Greg Feek offered yeoman service to the Crusaders through until the close of the Super 12 decade. Aside from two appearances with the Blues in 2004 on the draft, the former Taranaki man was a constant presence in the Crusaders environment, also gaining international honours with the All Blacks between 1999 and 2001. Feek formed a tremendous partnership with fellow international Greg Somerville between 1998 and 2000, with the pair being joined by a third international from the end of 2001 after fellow prop Dave Hewett made the step up to the Test ranks. Aside from his deeds with the Crusaders, which included scoring a try in the 1999 semi-final against the Queensland Reds at Ballymore, Feek also appeared in 39 matches for Canterbury between 1998 and 2005.
