Daniel Perrin has again been called into the Crusaders squad as cover for the injured Corey Flynn. Last year Perrin was called up after Flynn broke his arm during the All Blacks tour of the United Kingdom. Perrin was born and bred in Christchurch and worked full-time for a timber company while in Nelson and playing for Tasman. He played five matches for the Crusaders in 2009, scoring a try against the Lions in Johannesburg. Perrin's first involvement with the Crusaders was to sit on the reserves bench for the draw against the Hurricanes in Wellington.
