Chris Jack

Chris Jack returns to the Crusaders after playing for Saracens in England and Western Province in South Africa. He ended his All Black career in 2007 as the country’s second most capped lock, with only Ian Jones (79 Tests) ahead of him. He also shared with Rico Gear, the honour of being the first All Blacks selected from the new Tasman provincial union, after transferring from Canterbury for the inaugural Air New Zealand Cup. Jack moved on to Tasman after appearing in 40 matches for Canterbury between 1998 and 2005, featuring for Tasman for two seasons before linking up with the Watford-based Saracens.
