Andrew Hore
« Back

While he’d had to bide his time behind Anton Oliver and Tom Willis in the Otago ranks prior to coming north as a replacement, the Central Otago farmer’s storming form for the Crusaders quickly increased the demand for his services on a national scale. Hore followed up his debut Super 12 with a sound NPC for Taranaki, where he featured in all 14 of the province’s games. He was then called into the Hurricanes side the following season and has been with the capital city-based franchise ever since. Hore first made the All Blacks on the end of year tour to Europe in 2002, and then cemented his spot as a member of the wider training party once the Graham Henry era began in 2004.
