Andrew Fulton
« Back

Another of the North Harbour ‘foreign legion’ to find a home at the Crusaders, Andrew Fulton, who was universally known as ‘Billy’, arrived as a replacement for the injured Justin Marshall in 2000, and ended up liking Christchurch so much that he stayed on! Fulton went on to play 12 games for Canterbury playing out of the Hornby club in 2000 and 2001, making a good impression which saw him drafted by the Highlanders for the 2001 and 2002 Super 12s. While in the south, Fulton featured in 12 matches as a Highlander. He then returned to North Harbour at the end of that second season, ironically as a loan player from Canterbury, to add six more caps to the 17 he had initially earned with the union during his first playing experience in 1998 and 1999.
