The Crusaders Franchise Limited, in conjunction with the New Zealand Rugby Union, invites applications for an Independent Director to join the Crusaders Franchise Board of Directors.

Under the Board rotation policy one Independent Director vacancy arises every year. The incumbent, Murray Ellis, is eligible to reapply and has stated his intention to do so.

The successful applicant for this three year term, expiring in June 2013, will have proven experience and success as either a Director or Senior Executive.

Independent Directors must not, in the twelve months prior to and during appointment, be or have been a director, office holder, employee or board member of, or contractor to, any Franchise Union or any wholly owned Subsidiary of any Franchise Union.
